• Account data (name, email, login credentials, sign-in provider) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Build data (vehicle details, questionnaire answers, budget, lifestyle, experience, stage progress, notes, photos) — to generate and maintain your personalised blueprint. Legal basis: contract.
• Ask Skiddy conversations and AI recommendation records — to answer your questions with context and improve guidance. Legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in product quality.
• Community submissions (builder insights, build reviews) — shared only if you choose to share them, and reviewed before they influence guidance. Legal basis: consent.
• Support requests and bug reports — to help you. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interest.
• Technical data (device, browser, IP, error logs, basic usage) — for security, fraud prevention and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Purchase and entitlement records(plan, status, renewal dates, transaction references from Paddle) — to give you the access you paid for and meet legal and accounting obligations.

• Hosting, database, storage and email providers who run the service for us.
• AI model providers, which process the content of your Ask Skiddy questions and build context to generate responses.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We never sell your personal data.

Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are covered by adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.

We keep your account and build data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, builds, blueprints, documents, uploaded files and conversations are permanently deleted. Purchase and tax records are retained for as long as the law requires. Anything else is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Most of this is self-service: Settings → Your Data lets you export everything we hold, manage or withdraw community sharing, and permanently delete your account. For anything else email support@skiddybuilds.com — we respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted at row level so you can only reach your own records, and uploaded documents live in private storage buckets.

We use essential cookies and local storage only — to keep you signed in and to run checkout. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser, but signing in will no longer persist.
