Skiddy started with an empty van and a long list of questions. The founder was lucky: his dad lives in Talskiddy, Cornwall and had already successfully converted his own campervan.
Through the whole build there was one number to call. Have I done this right? What should I do next? What materials should I use? Am I making an expensive mistake?
That dad became the expert guidance that gave confidence throughout the project. Not because he did the work, but because he removed the doubt.
And that revealed the real problem. Most people converting a van do not have someone experienced they can call. They rely on YouTube videos, forums, conflicting advice and trial and error — and the mistakes are expensive.
Skiddy exists to become that expert companion. The technology is AI-powered, but the purpose is entirely human.
